My second wife used to give me 'The Angry Silence' treatment, it used to set me off big time, call still recall phoning her (after an evening of it) and bellowing down the phone 'FFS, say something will you!!!'

Yeah! But have you ever tried to do it back??? I think it's biologically impossible for a bloke to do it Somewhere along the line you realise what a pointless fecking exercise it is, and then make an effort to sort things out.

I did try a couple of times but felt foolish and started to snigger a stifled laugh at her instead, WOW that was my ace card and I found it by accident, she'd do 'The Angry Silence' and I'd snigger at her, she would hit the fucking roof!!!

 

What a result, I was soooooo happy, drove the bitch right round the bend.

Uncanny, sounds like the same woman.

Quite sure it wasn't though.

 

To laugh more when she launched into an irrational flailing of arms, trying to hit me and shouting louder still, has to be the most satisfying insult.

Strange that that should make me happy, damn funny though as I knew I had won.

My favorite moment in that entire marriage was during one of these set-to's when the old hag grabbed her favorite throwing object the handle came off and she poked herself in the eye with the stub, I was laughing so much I thought my heart was gonna burst and couldn't drive her to the Hospital 'cos I was on the floor pissing myself, worst thing was when the ambulance men arrived I was still pissing myself and they asked 'what was up' I told them and they were shot to pieces, they couldn't look at her without laughing and she looked so funny with the eye patch I was still laughing a week later.

 

Divorce was on the cards!
