Just bought 2 8600gt's grafix cards for my SLi MOBoard. Asus A8n-Sli Delux.

Bloody things wouldnt fire up, so thought, probably not enough power supply. SO I fork out ANOTHER £100 for a 700W power supply.

Wouldnt fire up.

OK the old card still works (why im typing this now) lets see if they work individualy....

Nope. ****ing things arnt compatible with teh MOBoard.

Now I have to send them back to Scan at added expence and buy a card that way more expencive.

This was suposed to be a cheap upgrade, now its going to cost a ****ing fortune.

The Asus A8n-Sli Delux is three years old fella, not really top of the line these days, still a very nice board though.

I take it you've set it up properly to run with duel cards?

Buy yourself one of these new 8800GTs. It will cane a pair of 8600s and probably be cheaper too.

Agreed the gts should be a lot better solo than sli 8600.
