Hi ive started to hear a noise coming from the passenger side, around the wheel arch area and inside the car behind the dash when my car is on tickover. Its loud and kind of sounds like a gurgle noise, im not really sure how to describe it. Could it be air in the coolant system?? Has anyone else come across this??

Do a search on AIV, all become clear!

Mine sounded like that just before the heater matrix went.

Deffo you AIV system fella. You can remove it all as you don't need it.

Short term, remove clips from the wheel arch liner, and remove hose from the bottom of the valve you see in there,it will be full of condensed water and drain off-problem solved until you decide to do the removal!
