me too ...

but they played a good game ...... ;)

...

Yeah, fair play to SA, Watch out for 2011 tho. ;) :mac1:

well played both teams and well done to the boks, but I do think England were robbed of 4 points, could have been a totall different outcome if you had been awarded the try.

Is it me, or is "someone" very being quiet at the moment?? I guess she's too busy :duffer:

hope the footie players where watching the limp assed bunch of over paid closet she-males.

anyone else notice them all singing thier hearts out, especialy Delaglio. Close match, could of been oh so different, IF.

Respect to SA and the England team and for France for putting on a top notch show.

I still say the footie players are a bunch of nambie pamby useless gay MOFO lady-boys.

:hyper: :hyper:

Oh and Shunter, you were not robbed! If your players weren't so silly tripping the SA players, that would be SA 3 points less :)

Anyway respect to england for making into the final  ... pity it didnt go your way last night! :)

It looked like a try to me, seemed like the ref booked england for obstruction and completely ignored south africa obstructing, I reckon there were a few backhanders flying about :nono:

It WOULD look like a try to the English supporters, its typical 'fan behaviour'

Also when their team looses all the excuses, cursing of ref's decisions etc start.

It was a close game, both teams played really well and SA deserved to win IMO. They played like champions throughout the whole tournament and did not loose one game.

I'm not normally into watching rugby.. But I did really enjoy watching the final last night.. I think SA fully deserved the win, but also think there were a few funky decisions made by the ref against England, but hey, what do I know.

GOOD GAME!! & WELL SONE SA !!

South Africa didn't so much win it as get it handed to them by England giving away silly penalty points every time SA got into the England half. :headvswal

The disallowed try wasn't a try and a good 47 metre penalty by Steyn under pressure did for us.

Well done to SA and roll on 2011.............. :D

His foot definately did not touch the ground before he grounded the ball!

Sure south africa were the slicker team, but the ref's bad decisions threw the game for south africa :hurl:.

   how's the hangover?

I'm not a sufferer :hyper: :hyper:

You have to be sober to have a hangover.

Personnaly I didn't think it was a great game. Both teams cancelled each other out to a certain extent except in the lineout. England just didn't compete in them. At one stage it was 7-0 turnover. South Africa just didn't make that stat pay. Does mean that they deserved to win though.

Didn't think the ref had the best of games either.

Darrell

I reckon England should start a new game - throwing south african rugby players at television cameras

Hmmm

I used to play rugby and i counted 3 penalties which we "should" have had and there was nothing wrong with the try :nono: it was bloody close but he should give advantage to the attacking team which he clearly did not

Saying that we were useless on the scrums and lineouts and thats where we lost it, if we had performed on these we would have had a chance!! we gave away silly penalties ourselves which lost us the game.

Was certainly a game we should have won and its a shame that it will be remembered for the 4th refs decision!!

Again saying that from the last time we played them we have improved a great deal but no one remembers the runners up LOL

Mike

I am gonna stick my neck and say even if we had been given the try (and yes it was without doubt) and the two or three penalties we should have been given and had the one or two penalties removed we shouldn't have been hit with, not the blatent ones they were stupid, SA would still have beat us.

They were bigger stronger and in more control, they soaked up the attacks very well and won the line outs that we should have had, we were a beaten team at 60 minutes and it showed. Poor old Johny couldn't get on his left foot, our runners had nowhere to run and our heads went down.

I'm not calling them loosers, they will never be, just not good enough to beat S A

i disagree, its amazing what a try can do to uplift the team, i think after that wrong decision the heads went down!! who ever scored the first try was always going to win

over now ;)
