No I know what you mean but from an English POV it was awesome! Next weekend is a real nail biter - Rugby world cup AND F1 world championship, although I think the press have cursed the latter :(

I think that's what happened the Irish rugby team in a way. In all fairness no-one gave England a second thought in this wc , yet they came from being hammered 36-0 by the springbocks to a final. Incredible really. wish i had of backed england to the final months ago, would be on easy street now :cool:

I think the Boks peaked against England, they have looked distinctly average in their matches since, they only jusy beat Tonga and Fiji ran them close. That said I would rather lose to the Boks than the bloody Argies.
