Sorry guys 'n gals Eliza (nor myself) will be available this time :(

I'm currently skint........

 

And Eliza isn't very well at the moment. Apart from the fact that the CAS has gone up **** creek, with no paddle(*1), I also have a noisy Air-Con pulley tensioner(*2). I also now have three rather nice, half inch deep, dents in the drivers rear quarter panel :cry: which, as I'm sure you can appreciate, I'm not very happy about!

 

MOT due back end of Nov, so I'll get it through that (hopefully OK) then it looks like it's time I'll be seriously selling her, for a sensible price!

 

*1 = Very quickly managed to secure one :bow: John.

*2 = Anyone got a spare one, that's in good condition?

Sorry all, but we're not going to be able to make this one or any others till next year as i've had to SORN delcare my car and take her off the road for the winter as i can't afford to get her through the MOT :cry: :cry:

Gutted been a crap summer for shows & meets :( Just have to save the pennies and do what i can over the winter and look forward to next year :D

 

Hope you all have a good one and look forward to meeting up with you all next year. ;)

Following the breaking down incident last Friday, I decided to leave her for 24 hours before being trailered back home. This was a big mistake as she was left in ASDA's car park at Oadby! When we got back on Saturday evening that's when the damage was noticed.

To say that I'm P155ed off is an understatement! Also the replacement CAS hasn't solved the non-starting problem, so she isn't going anywhere now :(

Cheers for the message, sorry you won't be able to make it, now how it is with the pennies, you don't have go to meets in the Zed you know, just turn up and meet all the guys and gals, cause that is what I will be doing shortly, as am going to SORN my Zed off the road in the very near future, but will still go to meets if I can.

Hi Alex,i will be in work sunday till around 12 so i will not be getting there till around 1.30,so will meet you there,will still give your Z a run out if ya want,(tho i have a feelin if i do that i will want one again :D )

ps if its chucking it with rain then i will not go,nothing worse than viewing Zs in the rain.

ok tonyc see you there same here with the rain im really hoping to get some advice when im there i have a few probs like petrol leak squeaky suspension a clicking sound coming from behind steering wheel funny idlin and a missfire when i shut the doors but im still dustin everything in sight haha

Ill be there but not in the Z (still buying bits) but in my other v6 :D

Maybe one day all the bit's will come together and we'll see it in all it's glory, in the meantime park the other V6 at the back of the car park. :xxx:

Not bad for my first mids meet but i got there a little to late so did not get much time to talk to anyone but still realy good to see all the zs in the carpark will get ther earler next time.

As normal,best laid plans etc,was not able to make it,got a call at work at 12pm,bloody shower in house decided to fookin catch fire nearly,so had to sort that out,and the weather got nice from 3, :(
