Approximately 2 minutes drive from the NEC.

umm. not far from where i used to live many years ago. blaby rd, south wigston. about 2 min walk from premier factory, thats if its still there. the marquis of queensbury still there ?. spent many a drunken night in that place. lol

I'll certainly try to pop along :) I won't be eating though, and won't be in a Z so I won't bother putting my name on the list. I'm just a spectator nowadays :(

I know that at the start of this thread there was some contention about the venue - Check out the above and DON'T be put off by the word golf! (I don't like golf!)

 

If the venue for this one is settled then we should consider this for the next one me thinks... because ...

 

It is about a mile from the Toby Carvery - The food is very good and cheap (probably cheaper than the Toby!) - the views from the restaurant are quality - The car park could lend itself to some good photo ops - and its always quiet because everyone thinks its members only......

That sounds good, even if we don't use it this month it should be one to concider for our november meet

hi tonyc alex here black zed from ashby fields im goin to the meet if you want you could come up with me in my zed plus i really want someone who knows zeds to drive mine to see if it feels right :D

Well all - I will still be at the meet, but not in my Zed :-(

Mr D came, sorted out my coolant issue, got me running on 6 cylinders again only for my car to fall at the last hurdle........ the Block test!

So with a fooked CHG I will be getting a lift me thinks *sniff*
