my mate buys it because he has an RS turbo escort, was flicking through and saw on the conents page "1668bhp 4x4 escort" so I thought hmmmmm I've got to see this!! anybody guess what engine its running? :D

lol!! nope, VG30DETT, never seen or even heard of this conversion done before! and its the most powerfull 4x4 in the world!

i would certainly like to know how they have managed to get that sort of power out of one. :shock:

lots of nitrous,huge turbos and 3bar of boost :D

one look at teh engine and we would know. im gueessing from teh bonnet bulge its a single intake, would be nice to see under the hood though.

I'll try to work out how to get a pic up but nope it still has two intakes and twin intercoolers, judging by the size of the turbos I doubt they would fit into a standard Z32 engine bay!

mock the ford as much as you like since buying mine 4 years ago apart from oil filters brakes and tyres it hasnt missed a beat and i thrash it every day of its life.............tell me of any z owner in the uk that has had trouble free motoring to that extent in 4 years

 

gimme a mk2 rs or 4x4 sapph cossie any day

Yeah but it seems like they have seen sense and started to put nissan engines in them to get any decent speed :D

never said they were bad! my last car was a 200bhp RS turbo powered orion sleeper, used to wipe the floor with most scoobies! would still be driving that if the floor was still there!
