Right i had an MOT today and i passed everything except my emissions!I had a look at the thingy and chatted to the bloke and everything was fine except my CO level (Carbon Monoxide) He said its suppost to be 0.2 but mine was 0.6!

Everything else of emissions was fine e.g. Lambda, Hydrocarbons so he said that the Cat must be ***ed as theres no Holes or anything as that would mess up the rest of the results! IS he being truthful or just trying to screw me over?? I got this fuel mixture stuff too does anyone think it will be strong enough to lower my CO emissions for a pass level he told me theres no way it will!

Got my Cat only 4months ago and baffles me how it could be ****ed!He said that theres some exhuast paste and if some got into the cat it Contaminates it and thats prob the cause of why its not doing its job!More Bo**ox?????

if the cats only new i dought theres anything wrong with it..!! exhaust paste will not make any differance if it got into the cat u would need to pac the thing full...!!take it to a go garage to get the emission set properly...

i have been told (dont know if this is true though) that you should give your car a good run (high revs) to get the cats hot for them to clear and work right. this was told to a friend of mine whos car failed he took the car up the road in 2nd at high revs and retested it and it passed
