Don't forget changing the wheel size make the speedo lie. also does the diff make any difference? where is the speed sensor?

I would love my manual to hit at least 200mph, it's running enough power but i don't think the gearbox will allow it.

Speed sensor is on the gearbox. Getting a manual to hit 200mph would either require a very high rev limit (not recommended unless the engine is properly built for it) or a different gearset fitting....

Hey , Coop ,ever thought about making your sig a bit smaller. :smash: ...even on Firefox I have to scroll to read your posts ! No offence , mind .

Yeah thought about it.

Will make it smaller again. When I first done it it wouldn't fit on a 40" plasma let alone a PC.

Next big mod will be gearbox but the Os Giken kit is a lower top end which sucks so to get there is will have to be a 6 speed sequential gearbox which costs allot of dosh so that wont come until very late next year if not year after.

Also i want either a leader gear diff cog or a diff geared for acceleration but i'm going to be further away from that golden 200mph mark.

it's a hard deccision to make why can't we have the best of both worlds haha, everyone uses their acceleration all the time the top end is just for those very occasional occasions but it's all about being able to hit 200mph.

oh what mods would be needed for it to be safe for the engine to rev higher. Andy see my rides section what would i need to add to my car on top of current spec?

Lets face it, top end is just bragging rights and absolutely NO use ;)

yeah too right, but it has to be done.

TBH it looks like you have everything covered... Don't quote me on that though lol. You also need to remember that a V6 is inherantly 'lazy' and doesn't like revving high....

Beat me to it. Im trying to find it to take a pic and post. 315KPH with Jay up my ass.

196mph Manual and 204mph Auto are the max theoritical top speeds that could be achieved with the stock gearing (ie Max revs matched with gear ratios). They are no where near achievable with stock power however.

175 'ish with limiter removed is about right though.

thats what we are all doing wrong then
