Anyone got the kit for their seats? Very temping, especially the great choice of colour. If i were to buy I would probably try the D.I.Y job myself and just wondering if there are any happy/unhappy owners who have them fitted.

Thankyou, that's been very helpful. My leather is really starting to look it's age. Bit of work involved there, but after doing the d.i.y re-trim job on my panels 2 years ago I would at least have some idea what i'm doing.

Theres a great choice of colours too, hoping to go fully tan or cream. For around £500 pounds it seems pretty decent value to have a completely new interior complete with new car smell.

its a job worth doing, i have not got the zcentre kit and i did not fit mine personally, however when fitted well they do look the business.

I am of the understanding it is quite tricky to get right, although i might be incorrect.

Got my leather seat kits from Nipponauto (http://www.niponauto.co.uk) who used to sell them on ebay. They look exactly the same as the Z centre kits (he may even supply them??) and the quality was first rate. Balls ache of a job to fit but well worth the effort. Be prepared to spend at least the whole weekend doing them but I would suggest anyone with a little bit of nounce could easily do a fine job. Getting the headrest of was my biggest pain.

Have fun.

Ive got one of Lukes seat kits.he imports them from the states.if its a 2+2 your doing you wanna allow a weekend to do it.start with the back seat as its the easiest and helps you to get a feel for the install.the more time you spend manipulating the leather over the foam the better it will look.i bought some inch foam for extra packing on the lower front seat squabs as over the years the originals compress and wont pack out your new covers well leaving them slack and wrinkled.also i purchased an eyelet punch/installer and used eyelets around the securing cable ties to stop the leather tearing when tensioned.i also got shed loads of beer in and be prepared to swear alot!! hth.

Looks like someone has thrown a couple of sleeping bags over those seats. I would be well unhappy with that finnish myself.

There are a few wrinkles in the seats, possibly rush-job for the pics, but just been looking at Apache's seats i still reckon done right, they look sweet

have you seen the nipponautos interiors?

mine are like that and not saggy, it depends how competent you are at fitting them at the end of day

i can't seem to get onto the site, but i'll keep trying.

you cant see the bottom of the seat but the leather is as tight as a nuns crotch.

I think its a case of getting them fitted really well, its a long job to do but not something i would have wanted to take on myself

Very nice, ;) . you'd wonder why bothering with the rear seats as they're rarely sat on but it completes the look def. Heres another. Can't understand how they've changed the dash to grey though, never seen it before but it does look sweeeeet...

ive got the leather in grey ready to get it done, but im not going to try it myself as getting it done right is very very hard.

I know Pete at Nippon has stopped doing the kits but he has been selling some on ebay.

it's the top half of the interior in that pic that i'm referring to, you'll notice the switches and stuff are standard black but the rest has been retrimmed to the colour of the seats and door cards etc. Now that's hard!

Make sure that when you order the seat covers that you pay the extra and get the full leather covers as the standard are PVC backs and sides. PVC streches and you'll find it harder to get a good tight job done. Also leather will shrink with heat and tighten up so long as they aren't as baggy as the first one you posted.
