Thinking of buying an old cottage and doing it up, wanna move off a new housing estate.

 

Where do you start looking for these, is there a website

 

I know theres http://www.rightmove.co.uk but this doesnt really cater for stuff like that.

We registered at local estate agents but have heard nothing.

this type of work may look easy on tv, not saying you cant do it but be very carefull, research it as much as possible, if it is listed keep well away

 

also do a land search, check who owns it, my uncle boought a house and the land belonged to the coal board, it costs him a fortune for planning permission as he has to donate to them
