The camel gets it's own back ?

I'm sure Spike Milligan used to tell this story :-

Back in the glory days of the British Empire, a new officer gets assigned to an isolated desert outpost, miles from the nearest town.

After a few weeks, the inherent excitement of making sure the sun never sets on the Queen's dominions starts to wear off, and the raw lieutenant approaches a grizzled sergeant with a delicate personal question. "I say! What do you chaps do for a little, er, 'companionship' around here, if you know what I mean?"

The sergeant nods slyly. "I knows just the thing for it, sir. Right this way, sir!" and he leads the lieutenant to a tent containing a camel with a stepladder behind it. Not wanting to look squeamish in front of the veteran, the lieutenant climbs up the stepladder, drops his trousers, and finishes up as quickly as he can manage.

As he's putting his uniform back in order, the lieutenant thinks he'd better say something to prove how nonchalant he is about the whole thing. He quips, "Well, it's not the best I've ever had, but I suppose one gets used to it, eh?"

The sergeant replies, "I suppose so, sir. I wouldn't know, sir. Most of us just takes the camel into town and finds a brothel, sir."

^ Pmsl!
