i started a thread in the off topic section and it was about me chinese being delivered, i posted that i wanted a cheese patty, funkisi didnt know what one was, i was wondering what other food we get that other people around the country dont get

 

we get stotty's, its a big round flat bread

 

its strange i thought everyone knew what a cheese patty was

 

what do othe people have that we may not get up here

 

im bored, just humour me lol

When I lived in the midlands you could get a 'bean mix' at the chippy.

 

It was chips and beans all mixed up on a tray with an upside down pie on top.

 

Also a 'pea mix'.

 

And they called bread rolls 'cobs' or 'barms' or 'baps'.

I had a golden beetroot last week at a very posh place for my mothers 70'th birthday party it looked like a small onion. anyone elce had one ?
