Any good ZED garages near Stirling?.

 

I need a few bits and bobs doing and a service.

It can't be that bad surely??.

Nobody up here that specialises in Z's that I know of, theres not enough of the cars around here.

 

Hypertec in Bonnybridge (01324 812 212) is about 10-12 miles from Stirling, seem to do a lot of jap performance motors. Ive never had any dealings with them so cant comment on the quality of their work.

 

Then theres Calder Motor Company,think thats the name, East Calder about 35mls from Stirling who do a lot of imports, heard mixed tales, and a few people on the forum not been too happy with them.

 

To be honest if its pretty much standard work required, any decent garage should be able to carry it out, ask the people you work with to recommend a good independant local garage that they are happy with, there must be one or two in the area who can do good work and won't fleece you just because its a Z.

I've known Duncan at Hypertech for years wouldn't trust anyone else in the area with my Z. Although he doesn't specialise in Z's he's worked on plenty on the area (there's 2 in at the moment) so probably knows them better than most.

my mate at stirling cc cars knows his way around any jap car especially the zx 300 tt anytime ive had a fault hes found it hes the type of guy who would strip an auto box to replace a part rather than most garages that would buy a new or recon to save them the work.

i live in stirling and have lots of parts for the 300 zx tt on the shelf ready for pick up

if you need service parts go to thompson motor factors at back o hill in stirling

certainly recommend Duncan at hypertech, bonnybridge 100% - no need to go anywhere else in my opinion.
