Guest 300z xluairp
In the Jap built Z; are the wires going to the Ecu different to the Uk and other models? Installing a boost controller at the mo, but the wires are different to where I looked them up. Throttle, rpm, ground etc.. Has anyone got any diagrams / charts to show what the functions are in a 91TT Jspec car? Cheers.
AndyP
As far as I know Uk and Jap are the same, although they will vary between series I & II etc.
Guest 300z xluairp
Cheers Andy. Will have to compare a few ecus on the net, look at charts etc and see what is the closest match. What i'm doing now is adding an extra socket for the boost controller just to clip in. The diagram I was looking at was probably for a later model. AndyP
Don't quite follow where you're fitting the socket.

Guest 300z xluairp
Don't quite follow where you're fitting the socket. Just for general maintanence and use; the boost controller wires have a pre-attached male type socket. I was told it's alot easier to get a female socket; attach that and leave it hanging off the side of the ecu / somewhere safe. After fitting the female socket, the male socket supplied with the boost controller can connect up with ease. It can be taken off and put back on in seconds :D

Guest 300z xluairp
Aha - I see. Good idea. On wednesday, I'll probably leave something on my journal section with some info, links to pics etc.. just if anyone else wants to do the same. I'll let you know if it works first :)
