Photoshop CS2 question

I think I'm probably being dense but this is bugging me and not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I have a frame by frame image of an explosion which I'm eventually putting together into an animated gif. However, each frame has a black line on the right hand side (equal in all frames) which I want to get rid of. I could do it by hand but there's 21 frames and it could be a bit tedious so...I've got them all together in one file as 21 layers, is there a way of selecting the black line and eliminating it from every frame with just a couple of clicks (or the inverse ie selecting the right sized area for each image and copying the lot of them to a new window?)? I've selected all the frames and tried various ways but can't seem to find the right one. It doesn't help that I'm tired and my brain is addled. If anyone can help it would be good!

Cheers,

Leigh.
