As there seem to be a few of us that never meet up anymore in the town, let alone spot each other, fancy a ruby murray one night?

Fridays are a defo no no for me as I have to look after loads of very young kids at 8.30 on Sat morning, and they would make mince meat of me.

Thinking maybe the Murgal Dynasty or Gulshan

Its been a favourite seaside resort of mine all my life as well as Leysdown. It is rather small compared to Blackpool or GT Yarmouth but similar. It does have plenty of chavs in hot hatches and a heavy police presence because of that. There is a fun fair albeit limited. The grub is good and the place does definately have a Cockney aire about it. The pubs are like london boozers on the whole the people are friendly until they get tanked up then they mostly want to fight each other. But yes a great place to visit. :D

Cheerz Vini. ;)

I wouldnt say Southend was smaller than Blackpool. Err we have 300000 people here. Its bigger than milton keynes ffs.

The seafront is, well ok I guess, I dont go down tehre much realy anymore. There are nice places to go, leigh front. But its a PITA to park down tehre.

We do have the most amount of restraunts per mile than anywhere else int eh country, most are absolute shit. but there are more than a few that would stand out in any town as being high quality. 5 of which have award winning chefs. personaly I can do without going to thoes over priced, prick filled, appetiser servers and have a propper meal at alvaroes or the murgul dynasty.

I love a good curry. I don't know any of you (I think) but I'm fairly local (Brentwood).

Ahhh, the heady days of Southend. On the pull in ToTs (mixed success to be honest), cruising up and down the seafront in my trusty od Escort, and dodging the plod and their traffic cones....
