Right then folks Now Athene is REO (well no-one else wanted it), This meet is still on, provisionally for the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of September. I need some definate yes or no's for this so I know how many to book camping etc for.

I'll have to check on ferry pricing probably best if you come over earl ish saturday, plus will only have to pay for 1 nights camping then, I'm trying to keep the price down as some people might think it gets a bit expensive.

We have a modern shower and toilet block, free hot water to showers and basins

I'm gonna struggle to make the 9am ferry............

Obviously an early bird  ...... he's not called 'MadMarco' for nothing you know

Too right…. Our very own Madmarco!! :D

Scotty’s been making plans…..

Time of arrival – 12.30pm: Drive around Island nice photo spots etc etc

12.30 – whatever time: Lunch

Afternoon after lunch – bowling (hopefully)

Evening the choice is your

a) local pub, drink / chat etc or

b) the Island have a carnival going on – could all go to that or

c) maybe bbq the campsite etc

Sunday – not too sure :)

Anyone else has any ideas or would like to do anything – just yell.

Well, they speak English......of sorts :D

Must agree about the time though, I was planning on getting to Cowes for 10'ish, but if it's a 12.30 meet I'll take the scenic route from Fishbourne - still it'll give Marco time to catch up on his 'Zzzzzzzzz's'

good god!

Must say I can't understand the '12.30 meet' idea!!!

If we are catching the 9.00 ferry it only takes 55 mins for the crossing. We should either meet 10.00 at Cowes or catch a later ferry. Why are we wasting 2 1/2 hours of a potentially great weekend?

if everyone arrives at like 9.30 / 10 am ... we will all have a spin, stop at all sorts, get pics - then go to lunch! you bunch of donuts!!

FFS ...... time of arrival means - whatever time everyone arrives until 12.30 we will be driving about, stopping taking photos etc!!

IT DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE ARRIVING ON THE ISLAND AT 12.30!!!!!!!!

Read your post Athene......."Time of arrival 12.30".......who's the donut now? lol :slap:

no mate - you read my post

Time of arrival – 12.30pm:

IN OTHER WORDS - TIME OF ARRIVAL - 12.30

IE: 9:00 - 12.30

or

10am - 12.30

what does that mean to you ??? time of arrival - (to) 12.30

Looks like a understandable misunderstanding to me ! ;)

Im afraid I still cant commit just yet, as I dont know if my car will be ready :(

Sorry Athene..I've always had problems with ambiguous statements but now it's perfectly clear.
