My friends going to that. He has a Mark 1 Astra pushing out 340bhp. I speak to him when I need reassurance that my old car was more reliable than at least one other car lol

it aint all about chavs saz i go to this every year and have a fukin ball, its a great laugh and guaranteed the dance tent is always kickass

i went in 05 and was very dissappointed!!

Hmm...is it worth the cash then? It looke pretty good from its website and bits and pieces I've heard about it but I did have a feeling it would be full of chavved up lawnmowers.....

.....so....should I go? Or are there better events out there this summer? Was really lookin forward to something like this...

if youve never been you should give it a try

different things please different peeps, personally i never go to the "modified car shows" all garish paint jobs, giggly bikini clad underage girls and fibre glass, but thats my opinion.

You might enjoy it, if you never go, youll never know!!

Be VERY wary with the current weather conditions!!! Been going for over 10 years, even when it was ultimate fastcar instead lol. Been to a few complete washouts and its an absolute nightmare. Nothing to do so everyone gets bored, you get covered in shit (bit like the toilets - why do people do that???? ). If the weather is good though then its an awesome weekend, won't be going this year though unforts due to other commitments and lack of funds - so you're off the hook Saz lol

hmmmmmmmmm i told u it was grand prix or the pod u made the wise decsision the GP lol

ok ok...I think you may have talked me out me off it! I may just head down for a day then...and not camp over as I figure the weather won't stay good for long so chances are it will be a washout!!

Had a quick 'yahoo' for other events and other than JAE this weekend there doesn't seem to be much else on! Which is a shame as I'm busy this weekend....

well i went to fast fest a couple of sundays ago with a few friends and it pissed down on the saturday night but we had a ball. then the sunday was clear and was a gd day.

why let other peoples opinions and the british weather stop you.. go and experience it for yourself then you decide.

Keep an eye on http://www.weather.co.uk - do a search on northampton area. If it rains at night its not really a problem. Its when it rains all day, there's no track action and not much side shows to keep everyone occupied. If the weather looks like its 50/50 then I'd say go - any worse and just a day trip would probably be better :)

Its certainly an experience so if you can go, NIKE - just do it :D

youll see plenty of Nike lol

Right well i was dissapointed at the show!Firsty cost was $15 according to website, i had to Pay $20 on the door! Not a good start! Then was conned into what i was told a Free Car Wash as they wanted pics of me and my ride for there Subscribers or someshit!Yeah i then got the Car wash (Titty Car Wash :)) and then they demanded $30 otherwise there bouncer m8s would bring me 2 a world of hurt!So i had to give em the cash!my buddy in his 330i was conned too!And they gave him aload of scratches on his bonnet!i got 1small one but i managed to T-coat it out!So not happy bunnies as cus of that we didnt go down the strip!

I bought some Sunglasses though so not all doom and gloom!Apart from that it was a decent show good fun spent alot of time at the brunout rink but not the best show i have been to!Id rate it probably at about a 5/10 excluding the Car wash scam!Damn hores!Saw 3 other 300zx's down there 1 with Lambo Doors kit which was nice!

Anyone else manage to get down there?

I went, a good day all in all, not the best tho.

It does say £20 on the gate, £15 is for advance tickets.
