I do not know about a PCV re route, you are probably thinking about a 'top end bypass'. If you do a search on this forum for EGR and Top end bypass, you should come up with links to tech papers refering to them.

I removed egr, aiv, carbon canister, air con and rad, recirc valves, hicas and did a plenium water bypass

do a search its covered about a million times bud

had a lil search couldn't really find much
