I'm so pi55ed of at the moment :nono:

Due to have picked up my new work horse car about an hour ago but the old couple selling the Laguna have sold it to someone else :(

Spoke to them a few days ago about the car but didnt commit to buying it, then when i knew my car had sold i spoke to the guy yesterday to say as long as its "as described" then i will buy it tomorrow, the old guy was made up and was glad it was going to a good home etc, took all the details and arranged for me to pick it up at 12 today.

Just about to set off when i get a call from the woman to say sorry someone came this morning and bought it  when i asked if it had been arranged before they said no but first come first serve which to a certain degree i agree with but where are peoples morals nowadays?? the car was perfect, low mileage, they had owned it from new etc

Oh well back to the drawing board, hope they have ugly grand kids

I'm not sure where this is going, I just like to hold birds.

I'd be disappointed too but in fairness they don't know you and it's not like you've viewed the car already and left a deposit. If someone turned up with the cash before you then they would of been mad not to take it and at least they had the decency to ring you and let you know.

I'll keep my eye out for one for you, was it the 2.2 INITIALE Sport Tourer your after?

I know what you mean and if it had been say a trader then not a problem but the old guy knew i wanted the car, i'd had several conversations about it and he'd commented that he would like it to go to me as i will be keeping it for a while etc also i only live 10 miles away so it was ideal!? if i'd said i was coming to view it then fair enough but i'd arranged a time and everything to buy it.

Hey Ho

Yes it was that model or the 1.9 but the miles must be low or fairly low ie under 70k

Cheers

Mike
