Well after the post I read yesterday I've had Mr R. Sole and his sons Rick Sole, Rob Sole, Richard Sole, Ryan Sole on my drives today.

I don't know if anyone else experiencies this sort of situation.....

I've had two Granada Cossies and one Scorpio Cossie before Getting my beautiful ZX. Now, in the Cossies I wasn't cut up or raced, perhaps because they look fairly discrete for what they are....

But in my Zed... it's like being on the bloody dodgems. You get cut up, tailgated, people trying to burn you off at lights, people trying to drive ouside you or inside you at roundabouts, people on the motorway knowing you don't want your car scraped so get outa MY way etc

Is it jealousy, plain stupidity or what ? I think we've missed a world war to reduce the numbers to clever survivors but thats a philosophical view

Just hope I can continue to stay clear of the Sole family

sometimes i bloody well wish i was a bloke!!

Hi,

Had one of the Sole family driving behind me yesterday on the way to work.It was a red Honda Civic Type R lookalike with headlights ablaze in my rear view mirror!

I say Type R lookalike, as everytime I put my foot down even slightly, I left him way behind!

He would eventually catch up, as I wasn't in a hurry to get to work... and he would then drive about 2 feet from my rear bumper!

I finally had enough and pulled into a petrol station forecourt to let him go past, as I really wasn't in the mood and just wanted to cruise to work at a slower pace!

Jez.

in all honesty I dont get that down here in Penzance, mind you that might be because all of the tossers who have tried it I have blasted back to the ice ages

sometimes i bloody well wish i was a bloke!!

I'm glad you're not :p :p :p

I get this a lot and I think a lot of the time it's just people wanting a good look at the car or wondering what it is.

They come tearing up and undertake etc and hang alongside gawping whilst not realising they're about to cause an accident

never had that. then again if they hit me, they pay 1 way or the other.

I have noticed that only about 2 out of 10 drivers do nothing when you approach them from behind. The other 8 either speed up or slow down. It's just jealousy/curiosity, either way, 9 out of 10 times I'd rather be in my car than theirs.
