My drivers side electric window has taken fits of stops and starts. Could work for weeks then nothing. The black switch behind the door panel is clicking when I try to use it but that's all, the motor won't work. I read on the forum that it probably means the motor is kaput. Does anyone know what other Nissan uses the same motor or where I can get one. CheerZ, S

Is there some kind of manual or 'write-up database' for where to find all the different screws/how to take apart parts of the car, etc...?

Thanks again

Hope ya got the problem sorted. When I opened the switch there was one obvious joint that was definitely seriously lacking in solder so I did the needful plus re-soldered all the main connections as advised by the boys above. Cheers y'all and thanks again.

Not yet unfortunately! After having wasted so much time with the wrong unit I haven't had a chance to revisit so will have to wait til next weekend now....will keep you posted tho!
