We're doing a Buyers Guide on the 300ZX (Z32) but as I'm going on leave soon, time is tight!!

 

Any advice on what to look for appreciated (have checked out the info on this and other sites) for instance, do they rust? Are electrics an issue? What identifies a dodgy engine?

 

If anyone near Peterborough has a Z32 that we could use for images AND if you are available during the week THIS WEEK then please let me know! Email on my profile or post a response here.

Ah OK - I didn't realise anyone was allowed to leave Lord EMAP's empire! IIRC Craig David journos for EMAP but I don 't know if he freelances or what.

 

Good Luck with the guide. I can't think of any other car which delivers so much and costs so little (to buy) - what else can you get for £5k with this level of performance, technology and style?

When it was launched in USA, Motor said "Dollar for dollar, it's the best damned sports car on the planet" and that's still true. IMHO.

Definitely feeling that vibe Gio, the more I look into these cars. Guess all the technology scares people off a little.

the untouched ones are quite rare, have a look in poll for car of the month for standard ones if you can see that thread, they are the finest examples of standard 300zx in the club as voted for by our members!

I was EMAP for years but now I freelance for all sorts - EMAP, IPC, Magaicalia, Heymarket etc

If you want a car to photograph, I'm in Peterborough and have a mint, almost standard 1999 Z32 NA you can use if you don't do many miles / rag it about and it comes back with a full tank of super unleaded! (pic below - only mods are wheels, HID headlights, clear side indicators, stainless back boxes).

URGENT... Please can someone help me, please!!! I'm trying to locate/contact a guy called 'Martyn' who is has disappeared along with my beautiful ZX (TT). I haven't had any contact with him since Jan. 07. He used to run a garage in LINCOLN (in the north of England) and also in HORSHAM.
