How to reduce pic size

I`ve taken some pics on my new cam , but they`re too big to upload on here . Any advice on how to reduce them ?

    I find the easiest way is to upload them to photobucket.com & choose what size you want

    With windows XP you seem to be able to right click on the pic and 5th tab down is resize pic.
