Tom Tom in the USA

Hi folks. Just installed Tom Tom & all the US maps on my Ipaq. Just wondered if all GPS units will work globally or if they are regionalised like everything else?

    As far as im aware it will as you will roam onto american networks via your phone so the gps will be also there but dont quote me on it.

    yes untill ESA's Gallelo project is completed at the end of the year. I believe the Russians are working on their own system also
