Important Announcement ~ Billing Cancelled

I'm sorry to have to be the one to break this news but unfortunately Billing Aquadrome have cancelled next weekend due to the weather.

The ground is that bad currently, the site organisers are hiring in pumps in an attempt to shift the surface water. However, the weather forecast for the next 10 days is not expected to be any better and therefor they have decided to call it off today. They said they wanted to give the car clubs as much prior notice as possible.

Obviously we are devastated, as this was meant to be our main summer event this year. We have spoken to the ZClub and they are still committed to holding their 30th annivessary later on this summer at Billing.

It is far too late to try and sort out a bigger pitch at Peterborough, so at the moment, it looks like we'll be rescheduling the event with the ZClub.

If anything changes or as soon as we have revised dates, we will post, to give members as much notice as possible.

Once again, we sorry for all those members (including me) who have already booked time off work. It's unfortunate but nothing much we can do about the weather and the decision to cancel was purely down to the owners/management at the Aquadrome.
