(NW) Sun 26th Aug: Monthly Meet, Hartside Top Cafe

Hi

Its the turn of clarkmagpie (Nick) to pick a venue for August's meet and he couldnt have picked a better place than this.

Hartside Top is the highest cafe in England at 1904ft above sea level. The cafe itself is located 17 miles from Penrith so its kinda slap bang in the middle of North/NW and NE regions. I am going to open this up to the Scottish and NE crew so if your interested guys and gals then give get your name on the list.

Time: 11.30am

Here is a couple of websites

this is this weekend. everyone still coming who's name is on the list?

Nick, Post meet time up on the Supra mkiv owners club NE meets section, you still havn't confirmed the meet time.

Maybe if you keep that updated then you may well get more interest from there.

I'm number 2 on the list 'Suprafly'

I'm trying to rustle up some interest our end as I reckon it'll be a great day.

I thought there'd be more interest as last Sunday we had a NE meet on the coast at Marsden with a good turnout in the pissing rain and bitterly cold wind, so you'd think if we can manage to withstand that then a nice run up into the hills would be a sure cert?

I'm defo interested in going up to the Hartside cafe, so you can count one Supra in so far, just need a few more to come up as I don't fancy going it alone.

Heard today the MetOffice reckon the Saturday and Sunday are supposed to be warm, but possibly thunder showers Monday, so fingers crossed it will be a nice day out.
