hi just a quick question my battery doesnt appear to be charging sometimes, sometimes it goes fine others it just runs down. i have the battery warning light on and the rear lights warning light on when its not charging had the aa out he said it was the alternator just wondered if this was correct? just thought if it was the alternator it wouldnt charge at all and not just sometimes

If the light is on then the regulator has given up the ghost. Take it off and get it to a refurb place, won't cost much :)

Rear light warning may be seperate or it may just be due to reduced supply voltage

where is that about to take off lol

Regulator is part of the alternator ;)

i had this to, try tighting the belt up as it somtimes solves it ! if not go for the alternator

same thing happened to me but all my light came on the dash.was the alty had it repaired things fine now .

dont let your battery run too low as all the electrics run down and it cuts out and boy ..is it heavy to push ..
