amb temp sensor circuit?

-80odd, sensor unhooKed, re attatched, no difference, bought a new one, no difference, did a Knight rider K.I.T self diagnostic, coming up with error (cant remember the number), equates to amb sensor circuit. Anyone brainy enough to tell me how to sort this out, easy job or as hard as it sounds?

Check the brown connector in the left hand corner of the pass footwell behind the trim panel.

 

If not could either be the display unit or the auto aircon amp unit itself. Display unit is pretty easy to swap, aircon amp a nightmare...

is taht under the carpet where that wood is?

Just unplug it and check for any water inside, plug back in and see if it works :)

no water, how do i see if it worKs? i presume its to do with the amb temp circuit.
