Hi every one,can you help l have a problem,my twin turbo,which l just got,ticks over,although l found it has no power to one of the coils,the main problem is it acts like its running out of petrol,and its does stop,then you just can not get it to start,petrol is being pumped past the filter,l am only restoring the car so l have not been on the road with the car,so can any one help,thanks mick :bow:

Yep sounds like PTU (power transistor unit aka ignition amp). Located on left hand cambelt cover looking from front of the car at the engine, metal rectangular box with fins on. Nissan had a recall on non UK models but we had to suffer the expense unforts. Common upgrade is series 2 unit available from USA dealers or some traders on this site. Don't use Nissan UK as they'll supply you with a series 1 unit....

Thanks andy where is the best place to get one,would it have to be a new one or do you think some one on the site might have one,thanks again for your reply,regards mick
