I know of people who swear by them, and wasn't there a guy on this forum who is incorporating that security system into his 300zx?

Make sure you dont have a greasy finger when you use it, because if you breath on them after the security will over ride if you hover your finger just above the pad. Done this with two friends computors that have them built in.

My view this is a security gimmick, ok for your home machine (unless you have devious and malicious people in your house!) ;) Don't use for anything where it's exposed to the public, or a university campus etc ....

Cheers guys. It'd just be for home use but am I right in thinking I can use it for passwords for web sites (instead of typing them in)?

i got the reader in the keyboard, it's a microsoft one. And yes it will remember all your usernames as passwords for sites. You can also set up all ten fingers just incase you lose a finger or have a scar after setting it up.

i sell biometric safes, work well cant complain

although structure if safes are not superb the actual idea works great
