Anyway as a newbie I was wondering if any members in the Cardiff area have had any experience of removing or rebuilding a TT engine. I've done this with other "lesser" cars but am I little wary on this project. Any help or advice would be appreciated so I can get car back on the road.

Willing to cover petrol and maybe some extra. Really want to out the engine and get it rebuilt.

i think your nearest place that does jap car is hyeline in cardiff, but id got to pawl a swz if your not conftable

hi mate my advice is south west Z as they only specialize in Z

Thanks for the company names, I was hoping to do this myself with a little help. I've done builds before but not on a Z, i try to avoid cheque book cars as it takes the meaning out of doing them for me.

Mine always goes to a 300ZX specialist for any work so I can't help you there sorry bud.

if you feel confident with it try it your self if not take it to a specialist about as far as i've gone with mine is replacing hydraulic lifters and 60k service, that was not quite as daunting as i expected although i was slighty worried when i started, but i would do it again
