I had a Behringer V-amp but not the mark 2, good sounds for recording. My brother had the Line 6 pob but we found the bottom end was over the top and it was hard to EQ out.

Having said that he now has a line 6 pedal board which thinks has the best sound he’s heard and he knows his stuff.

I've got a Flextone Line 6 III amp and it's ideal for getting all those classic sounds. I never heard the Behringer but their microphones have always been very good. If it was my choice I'd go with the Line 6 as they started it all with the 'pod' and even though there's a loads of similar products that have copied it I haven't heard anything better.

Cheers for the responses. I'm torn as I think the line 6 will be better but the v-amp is also 20 quid cheaper, can be gigged and practiced with, comes with pedals and a nice little bag. Think I need to hear them both.

Yeah I looked at the pod xt but i don't really want to spend that much on one. Looks damn good though.

i have the line 6 pod ..and ...i love the sound it give's...and if you get the pedal board with it ..it's great for giging ....

No experience with either of those but I use a Zoom G2.1u myself which is first rate. Saying that, I've always liked Line 6 stuff. I've played around with their new Variax 700 in the studio and although it doesn't "feel" as good as my SG Special, the amp/guitar modelling is phenomenal.
