I had a ride in a 500hp Evo over the weekend. Built by the same guys doing mine. Very impressive. Being a 2.0 and single turbo there was a fair amount of lag but it's a great feeling when the turbo kicks in and pins you back which man it really done.

I was taken for a spin round Oulton Park in a later model and the handling was fantastic, not quite as impressive as the Ferrari 430 mind, you could feel the tyres grabbing onto the track.

I would love an Evo but scared of the maintainance costs.

can't see it costing anymore than the Zed, everything is more widely availible well that's the impression i always got.

Yeah but 3000 mile service intervals, more tyres...
