Yup not to mention the bars, cafe's, restaurants, clubs, pubs, shops, casino, beach, marina, street performers. Great place.

Dingy side streets, expensive drinks, prostitues, and thieving pickpocket gypsy kids...yeah great?

I heard those girls are filthy.......... :nelson:

What's left of them, that guy recently curbed their population :x

Oh, I voted Venice. I really like Paris but I havn't been to Venice and I think for a woman its got the romantic factor before you even get there.

I've been to Venice, its not bad if you like old buildings, we stayed on one of the Islands just off the main part of Venice, Venice Lido. Which isnt a problem as you get the Vaporetto (water Bus) across only takes about 5 mins ans it runs all night and costs nothing, It costs nothing all the time you are there you pay up front when you get off the coach at Piazzale Roma but thats quite cheap anyway. St Marks Square is expensive to eat and drink at, but the other restaurants down the side streets which look like cobbled allyways are reasonable and nice. Plenty of places of interest to visit, the Bell Tower to look over the hole of Venice, The Doge's Palace is nice too, the Venice Arsenal rialto bridge and the bridge of sighs, and the many gallories the Gondallors are romantic but a complete rip off about 80Euros. You also have to be a bit careful what time of year you go as it can be prowned to flooding they say and smell a bit i've also been told , we went last April and it was fine didnt smell and was quite warm, warmer than UK. Having said all that i would go back again. Also you can get a water Taxi from the airport to your hotel depending on what airport you fly to, but they cost a fortune about £90 one way from Marco Polo Airport, we went to Treviso Airport and got the Bus about a £5 coz im tight lol

I voted New York Awesome place :duffer:

I like Harrogate and we go quite regular Last time we went there was

a swimwear and lingerie exhibition on at the conference centre and all the models were in the ministry of sound that night it was Horrible :D

Amsterdam - Loverly place but you've been there plenty Mr Kirby

Barcelona - One of my favourites but would leave it now till september or in the spring.

Brugge - Really nice and romantic place andquite quiet at the moment because Wozzer and Jay are at home :slap:

Budapest - Is so much like Paris was in the 1940's. Infact is often used by film makers as a location for WWII Paris. Really beautyfull. If you go you must Try the Crispy Carp.

Munich - Only ever been for a few hours when I've been between flights. Seems much like most German Cities.

New York - too far for a weekend

Paris - lovely but very, very pricey and too busy this time of year

Prague - Never been but looks fab However as already said filled with stag parties / hookers I hear

Rome - see Paris/Barcelona

Venice - see Paris/Barcelona + the canals smell at this time of year. This is the most cultural city in the world and boast the best Botochelli, Raphaelite and pre Raphaelite works of art anywhere in the world.

Hahahaha! Yeah I live there and it's awesome LOL

Also the Nursing Conference that's on for a couple of weeks makes it worth going out any night, no man is safe! LOL

Shame Ministry has closed down recently but I heard Gatecrasher might have bought it...

Port Olimpica for a meal, great seafood. Also some good bary clubs there. Not worth going out till after midnight there though. Also worth a look in the day cos the beach there is very nice.

Las Ramblas is the main point to head for, good shops and bars etc, street performers and markets come off all the side streets, can spend hours wandering round there and always find something new to see.

The cathedral of course goes without saying, and if you can be bothered have a go on the cable car at the port.

I always stay at the Vinicci Maratimo, its out of the town about 5 min tube ride to Las Ramblas.

Barcelona - if you must go :) - The Cathedral, impressive Gaudi architecture, climb all the steps but not with a hangover! The Nou Camp, they do guided tours, I didn't get around to doing this though :(

I'd suggest the Salvadore Dali museum and the Segrada Familiar (?sp). We found some of the best things at random, walking in the parks and round the small streets of the old town in the evenings (sort of impromtu musical happenings and coepeira 'battles'!).

Do watch out for the thieving pikey kids though, they will emtpy your pockets while you watch the street performers! My brother even sat down in McDonalds only for some pikey kid to run in and snatch a burger off the table!
