Thing is it is not just this one child that is missing, there are many parents going through the same nightmare, lets just hope this ups the campaign to raise awareness of ALL the missing children!

They did say on the news the other day that they think that the chance of the abductor asking for a ransom and returning her safely were very slim now due to the amount of media interest.

But then I think if that was one of my kids I wouldnt give up hope and I would be doing everything possible to get everyone I could to be aware!!

They interviewed the mother of Ben ****** (cant remember his last name) he went missing 18 years ago she said and never been found, what must that be like not knowing one way or the other, how the hell do you carry on? I would have to know.

proberbly Ben wouldnt as he was 18 months old when he went missing, but Maddilein might as she is 4. You would just hope that someone is bringing them up as well as you would and loves them as much

i guess if the child is young enough it wouldnt remember and older child like madilaine might remember, but young children can easily be manipulated and possibly brainwashed. To be honest i cant really remember much before the age of 5

ok so I was 22 days old when I was given up for adoption.... cant remember my parents obviously... but I suppose not a day goes by when I dont think about em... dont get me wrong... parents who adopted me were amazing and I love em to bits... but from a childs point of view - its hard to move on.

 

Different story though when your 4 and your kidnapped... I'd say it would take a long time to forget... your scared, you dont understand whats happening, you dont know the people.. horrible!

 

you read about those stories where kids are locked up for years and years in dark holes etc.. and when found they still have memories of their parents etc.. (remember seeing some programme about these kids - they live like animals)

It could be the case that the children are abducted by wealthy childless couples who pay big money for someone to abduct them. It woulodnt suprise me

just fooking sick... if you have that much money though you'd pay someone to fall pregnant and have a kid for you... or go to an orphanage!

but if you was never told you where adopted, Athene, you wouldnt know any different and wouldnt wonder about your biologicol parents.

 

How and why would anyone Kidnap a child and make them live in a dark hole and locked away? I know these things happen but why, what would be the point in it? There is some wicked horrible people out there

eddie needham (bens grandfather) is a very good freind of mine. it was a very traumatising time even for close freinds. i actually had ben and his grandparents in my car 2 days before they moved abroad. they are originally from sheffield, moved to lincolnshire, then to greece, then back to sheffield where they still are today. theres a few members of the close family who have had breakdowns over it, on more than one occation for some. i know they will never give up searching.
