Is the japanse model the same as the european? Know the steering wheel is on the other side... But is the engine bay the same? Thinking about wires and stuff... I recon the rest of the car is the same... Thinking about importing a part car from japan..

The battery and brake boosters have changed sides. And the wiring loom is slightly different.

And even the Japanese cars varied from year to year. So it really depends on which parts you want, which car you want parts for and if you can find a similar one to break.

the most important thing is of course the engine. (low km.) Transmission. And interior like leather seats. And after that as much spare part as possible of course

Seat wise, the controls will be on the wrong one! Unless you get the later version with both being electric, but even then the Lumber support winder will only be onthe right hand one.

 

Engine wise, as far as I know, they'll generally be the same.
