For some reason, for years I believed that Triumph TR7s blew up when they got to 127mph. Something my cousin said that I took at face value lol.

 

Anyone else got any strange things they used to believe?

I was told that colour t.v's use more electricity than black & white's..

I thought, what a load of old crap.

I tell ya in all fairness she was 1 of the best girls i ever went out with, shame it didnt work out, got treated better by her than any of the british girls i've ever been out with, my present lady being the exception she is a diamond. Its a shame it didnt work out to be honest :(

My mate told me that he always believed a 125cc motorbike did 125mph and a 250cc one 250mph etc !!

My dad told me that when the ice-cream van played music, that meant that he sold out. Took about a year to figure this one out.
