Would any one be up for a meet on Sunday 19th August ?

 

Have attended the Classic Car Show at Chatelerhault Country Park for the last umteen years, mainly with my past yanks tho.

Asked them if it would be possible to have a few application forms sent out to me, and explained about the club,, and they offered us a club stand !! :cool:

 

For those thats never been, there are 2 fields. One for the Max Power brigade, and the main field, in front of the Country House for Yanks, Classics, Ferrarris, Harleys, Kits etc, etc. Badmonkey attended a few years back just after he bought my old Zed, and it got plenty of attention ! ;)

 

There are food stalls, beer stalls ! kids rides etc. Last year they had an acrobatic aerial display with old by-planes. Over 45,000 people attended, I believe. Cars dont need to be showroom, just a show`n`shine day really.

 

Good excuse for a day out in the Zed, put some names to the faces etc.

Think I have some pics of past shows, if I can find them !

If any body is interested, let me know. Would probably need about a minimum of 6 to qualify for a club stand.

Lets get the best Jap car up there and show em off ! :D

No doubt there will be something suitable in the future...just gotta get my slipping gearbox fixed....or a manual conversion......
