This thread will be used to notify all subscribed members of any bans issued by members of the club committee or a club moderator. This is in response to several requests by our subscribed members for a public banlog.

All details of bans will be entered in the Banlog by the Membership Secretary.

The Membership Secretary will post as much information as possible (How, Why and How long).

Please remember, this thread is not an area for forum discussion about bans. It is simply a public noticeboard for subscribed members to recieve information regarding bans from the club committee.

Regards

The 300ZX.co.uk Committee

Mikey Bean ~ Issued with a permanent ban with loss of all benefits.

For those who might remember, Mikey requested his account be closed back in October last year - to which I duly obliged; but leaving the door open for him to return at any time. Which he did; albeit with the loss of his previous Breaker-yard trading privileges.

However a few days ago, following reported posts by other members, Mikey was pulled up for an attempt at back door trading in respect of "his" new business venture. A venture, it turns out, Mikey is currently not registered at Companies House as [even part] owning; but one whose only directors are actually 2 banned members of this club! Rules are rules with regards to trading so Mikey's posts were edited; following which Mikey continued to publically contest the decision and make inappropriate comments towards committee members for doing their job - culminating in him receiving a 7 day ban.

The committee has reviewed the case and, after much deliberation, agreed that it is in the best interests of the club, its members and legitimate traders, to permanently exclude Mikey from the forum.

dkboro121 ~ Issued with a permanent ban with loss of all benefits.

Following on from Gary's post above, the committee has reviewed Danny's ban for questionable trading practices and, since this is not the first time he has been banned for the same behaviour, we have decided that his present 7 day ban be extended permanently. We also took into consideration the question of "back-door" trading activities; which are unfair to our subscribed traders and - as we have seen many times - often do not work out in the best interests of our members either.

If anybody still has outstanding deals with dkboro121, please contact a committee member. We can always get in touch with him for you; or pass your contact details on to him (with your permission) in effort to help you resolve the issue(s).
