As above. I could never understand why a big club like Newcastle just never achieve anything. I'm Glad that big Sam has gone in and sacked a load of premadonas and told Michael Owen "If you staying say so and lets get cracking. If your not then fook off."

Its cos they are not that big of a club you'll find.

I think you may find that they are a big club :nono: ............just crap

Outside the top 4 Who have a bigger fan base?

If you`re going on average attendances, they are only beaten by Man. Utd. and Arsenal

Thats just the point, OUTSIDE the top four. Only the big clubs make it into there. Newcastle are not one of them.

I know that was asking the question to try understand how takemetothepub

equates a big club and a small club.

Mind you he lives in Canvy Island so he proberbly don't even know where Newcastle is  .

All of them are in debt for those amounts apart from Manchester Utd Who are the the only team on your list in profit.

So I refrase the question and say for such a big team in the premiership.

Sorry. I used your quote but it was actually directed to Takemetothepub.

Also. Because Rangers are 18th on the list. Does that make them a small club??

All of them are in debt for those amounts apart from Manchester Utd Who are the the only team on your list in profit.

Ah i see, where you getting that from?

See its quite simple. You asked why Newcastle dont get anywhere and I gave you the bottom line answer that is, AHEM!

THEY ARE NOT BIG ENOUGH TO COMPETE WITH THE BIG CLUBS!

DOES THAT HELP CLEAR THIS UP OR DO YOU NEED ANOTHER SEASON OF NOT WINNING ANYTHING TO BE ABLE TO ADMIT IT?

So who are your big clubs then?

ill bet the glaziers will be glad to hear that

as they refinanced the club for about 700 million to grab control

hence utd fans kicked up such a stink to try and stop them taking over

i reckon big sam would crawl on his knees to keep owen and any chance they have of turning things round, he needs to get rid of some wage earners (but wont be owen) if he is going to have the same backroom staff he did at bolton which was over 20

What are the figures based on. Asset value? Player rated Values? Wages paided? Ticket sales? Merchandising?

Real Madrid are in debt to the Spanish Government buy hundreds of millions and has been subject to a FIFA investgation.

SSSH I forgot about that

I don't think he would crawl to keep anybody and would be looking a Michael Owen as the money to buy in 2 better players. Rather than one knackered one trick poney.

Anyway I 'm not a Newcastle Fan I am a keen football fan and I recon whith the additional finances at his disposal that Big Sam will either break into the top 4 or give them a close run. I also bet he will win Silverware for them in the next 2 years and I see this as being good for football and all those poor Toone supporters

Thats yearly revinue from tickets, advertising and merchandising.

So who are your big clubs then?

The top four of course.

By the way I'm a tottenham fan and belive my team is not big enough to compete either which is why we dont win.

Not sure why you lot wont accpet that as the truth it is!

Actually I didn't ask anything. The point I was making was that prior to the money mogals investing in Chelsea, they weren't a rich club and Newcastle who's ticket revenues and Club size has been much greater than All, but Man u and Liverpool over the last £38 years have somehow been so ineptly managed that they have achieved nothing. With Sam Allardyce's apointment do the toone think this are about to change for the better.

On the Original Question

So then is big Sam going to revitalise the toone

NO

Cos they are W@nk

:duffer: :duffer:

The top four of course.

It all depends on what what factors you use to decide what makes a team big. If you go on who is the best then you are right. The top four are the biggest. I would personally use other factors also.

But I don`t see why only the top four can be big clubs.

On the Original Question

NO

Thats not far off the truth.

And, yes, I support them

I'm a Barnsley Supporter and always have been as its my home town, but I'm not a fan of the way they play and realise with the influx of international investment in the Premiership PLC that the chances of teams like mine ever winning the big cups again are virtually nil. The premiership team I follow is Manchester United. because I went to college in Manchester. Got Married and had kids there and lived there longer than anywhere else in my life. (spent 3 years in London Islington, Camden and Hampstead) Trafford borough is my eldest childrens home town and as a result I go to more Man u matches a year than I do Barnsley.

I also believe that the reason the likes of Man U, Liverpool and Arsenel have been good is because of team spirit as well as top players, but too many teams have average players who are paid too much for their ego's to deal with.

come on the toon, its about time our fortunes turned!

cant say that im overly thrilled with the idea of big corrupt sam but fooking hell he is better than that clown roeder.

another season of transition then move over everyone we are storming through! we are coming for our champions league place back!
