whats the difference between a M series BMW and the Alpina?

 

i take it the Alpina isnt as fast but what makes them so special :confused:

think alpina is an induvidual tuning company and the m spec is bmw. not entirely sure tho. m spec is more powerful tho.

alpina are standard bmw's, taken away have the engine taken out and suspension etc, and then fitted with their own engine, brakes etc. all from brand new! there arn't limited to 155 mph either.

I thought the Alpinas were faster even with the Mtech cars delimited, or is that just down to the horrible pinstripes on the Alpina?

Always loved the Alpina BMW's more than the M-Ones.
