That’s right but they do give stability did you see the one where the Stig crashed the Veyron around the circuit so they fitted it with a rear spoiler for more down force?

That is for downforce to aid low speed (0-120mph) cornering. For out and out top speed, slippery is king! I'm pretty sure that wasn't the Veyron it was the Koensiggsomethingorother

Topgear have also shown a report on the Bugatti Veyron which has a top speed setting that actually retracts all the spoilers and lowers the car. The one where they race it across europe against a plane.

I also wouldn't worry about losing too much weight, low weight helps acceleration because the engine has less mass to push along, but means little on high speed runs. In fact the weight you have will aid your stability.

Focus on a the gearing to make sure you can actually get there, then a slippery shape, then power......

of course there are many other considerations - but I know you have those in hand! ;)

Can't wait to see it all in action!

lets just say I shal be removing stuff. Hence why I have not bothered to put a leatehr interior in there.

ABS, HICAS and anything else thats useless will be going by by.

As for teh wing mirrors, they will be removed for the run.

As for the construction of the bumper. The JUN bumper was made out of Carbon adn I can imgine it was a very very strong bit of kit. Most fiberglass kits I have come accross over the years have been very week in areas.

I donot want it parting company at thoes speeds, so it has to be very very strong.

But We have a cunning plan

So you using that beautiful beast in your sig???

Good luck with it mate, hope you get there.

Am sure these cars are capable of cracking 200mph

Thats sure is some pub bragg'in rights to know your cars capable of hitting the big 2zero's!!

Are they limited to 155??

Whats the top end normally with 1 bar boost and filter/exhaust??

thats 330bhp right?

All you need is a load of power - 550bhp ish I've heard said a few times on a manual box and you can do it.

The front doesn't have to be strong - there's plenty of us have done 180+ without leaving a trail of fibreglass and I can't see another 20mph making much difference.

I'd just buy the most aerodynamic one you can get.
