Hopefully Myself and Kev (Retro620Ti) will be able to make this but his internet is down at the mo and he's limited to internet cafe's so hopefully he'll see this.. We'll convoy up hopefully with some of the other Cornish lot!!

Let us know if you do go to Japfest and we will meet at exeter somewhere and convoy up with us lot from plymouth

Took a visit to 'Alan Jeffery the rolling road tuning specialist' he spent 30 minutes explaining that the most important thing about dyno testing is the results showing how the car is running rather than just the BHP, i.e is it running lean, rich, engine temp etc. You get a full print out of this.

Also once the car has reached peak power and starts dropping off thats it test done, none off this flat out running lark ! Also he does the test twice as the engine is at a better running temp the second time around.

 

He normally charges

 

NA's £50 +vat per car

Turbos £60 +vat per car

 

but if we get 6 or more, he will do it for £30 + vat

I know its a bit more than we paid the other day but he is a pro and will take time and care talking with the owner before and during the run.

 

If this is of interest to enough people then the meet will be on the 9th instead of the 10th as he is away and we are away to le mans the week after.

Also has a screen on the side of a wall so all spectators can see the graphs etc.

Hey wow300, nice to meet you and lisaf today. Funny place to bump in to each other!!?? I should have my Z back on the road next week once the wing mirrors have arrived and been sprayed, so would be cool to meet up with you guys and redzed for a spin.
