Just been speaking with Jeff at Zedworld tonight and he's told me about a SWB TT Manual in Black on a H reg that has been nicked from there early hours of this morning.

I say possibly a fellow Zedder being involved is because of the knowledge the culprits had of Zeds and their workings in general.

For reasons i can't mention, this SWB was boxed in with other cars and it was disabled by Jeff personally as well as fitting a sterring lock.

The culprits gained access to the blocker cars BUT removed a particular part from one in order to fit to the SWB in order to start it and then drive it away.

Your average car thief am sure wouldn't know what parts were missing and how to locate others etc, so am certain this person knows his Zeds, if he/she does then theres a possiblity they are known on here which to me IMO is an attck of sorts to our 300zx community :mad:

If anyone hears of any gossip/info or the whereabouts of this SWB TT Manual H reg, I'd be grateful if you either let Zedworld know, ( click link for details) http://www.zedworld.co.uk/wizzk.html or contact myself to pass on the info. This of course can be in the strictest confidence.

Am sure a reward of sorts would be in order if any info supplied leads to an arrest or return of car.

Needless to say the owner is rather upset as these babies are a bit rare out there.

Oh and the day before a new product was fitted on the car which can only be used on SWB's, if your offered something new and previously fitted to a SWB, let me know as it may help, again I'll hold of saying what it is for now.

Well said, couldn't agree more. Not much chance in this ever worsening nanny state though! The latest thing is instead of prison sentences, having a meeting between the perpertrator and the victim, so they can apologise ffs.

 

Back to the stolen Z, how can they sell it or do they break them? If they change the plates do they have to own a donor black SWB?

Well hopefully by posting this on here it will make life a little harder for the culprits to either sell parts off or even the car itself, IF the they are in some way related to this site!

Problem is mate.

Unless you say what we are looking for as a community then chances are as always, when offered stuff from the zed community we wouldnt bat an eye lid.

 

Id be willing to bet its a doner car.

Manual TT SWB's are not very common at all bud so thats a big start.

In Black, a H reg and fairly stock brings it down even futher.

So if something like the above is suddenly offered in parts or as a whole to someone, they theres a strong possibility I would say,also as either here or Ebay are the 2 obvious places to get shut :)

Not at present, am just waiting on the owner sending them to me to post up later on after he's spoken with the officer dealing with this.

There is a black manual z for sale on the nissan owners web site. Being offered by a newbie. I don't know the difference between models but worth having a look?

 

For sale nissan 300z z31 turbo manual. engine transplant from nissan leopard (250 bhp)still a vg30 but this one is intercooled via a v mount intercooler, aftermarket ecu, nismo suspension, volk racing 17" rims, 9 inch at the rear. full stainless, t-bar, induction kit hard piping, strut braced front and rear,lsd, boost controller but limited to 1bar boost. good tyres all round, mint bodywork ,only two cracks on the front splitter, easily removed and fixed. headlights changed for twin jobbies, 2 x Recaro front seats, centre console removed. boost guage, steering wheel, isotta gearnob. and hid also, engine had full overhaul before imported, new belts, alternator, etc this car is flawless and extremely tight to drive, no worn bushes, pr links and no knocks or rattles whatsoeverand first to see her will buy if he/she is an enthusiast. 69000 km on engine. 6600ono euro uncleared 1400 vrt
