You only have Nissan or Nissan.

I bought them from you know who at about £35 if memory is correct.

Changing them is a fun job not!

Courtesy in the states is your best bet...

http://www.courtesyparts.com/z32_brakes.html

This gives a full breakdown of all common brake parts on a z32.... Delivery will take around 4 days typically....

Anyone know what is in the Front Brake Hardware Kit, is it anti-sqeal shims etc, does it contain the seals?

thanks for the info I'll check out courtesy, hope the shippings charges are not to exspensive. Does Nissan do their own sealer kit?

cheers rob b

JUST CHECKED out courtesy, andy do you know the diffence between the hardware kit and sealer kit, theres a sealer kit for the front, though not the back? cheers.

rob b price's look good.

Rob, if you're getting the kits from Courtesy and manage to establish which bits are which, can I join in with the order to save a bit on shipping?

I need the seal kit and the anti-squeal bits really, but would like top know what is included in the hardware kit.

Jezz.

Unfortunately I don't know but if its a standard kit I'll have a look on the Nissan FAST CD tonight and let you know - I presume it is, in which case I'll be able to find out....

I was actually gonna say it may be an idea to see who else wants stuff from the states??? I WILL be placing a large order VERY soon so you can jump in on that if you want - I need part numbers and addresses - mail to z32@btinternet.com

I will need payment b4 the order goes through though on any large bits wink.gif

Cool Andy,

I definately want a seal kit for a set of 1991 cast iron calipers, depends what the other kit comprises really, I could do with a shim kit though.

Then I can sell some of my calipers, you can have too many you know. smile.gif

OK looks like this:-

The hardware kit is the shims

The caliper seal kit is just the rubbers

This is as much as I can find out from what I know....

When you say rubbers, you mean the piston dust shield rubbers? Or the actual piston seals? Or both

I need the dust shields, well 1 actually.

Sorry for the questions, will have both anyway.

Excellent, you're a star Andy. smile.gif

I'll have both then, the hardware kit and the rubber wotsits.

Cheers mate, I reckon I'll manage to fit them Ta. wink.gif

Oh, sorry another Q, 1 kit does do both calipers dunnit? The web site kinda implies it, but best be sure.

Jezz.

Eeerrrrrmmmmmm...... biggrin.gif

It says 1 per vehicle (on FAST) and Complete Front (on Courtesy) so make your own mind up biggrin.gif I would presume both sides to be honest, as it would be foolish for anyone to even contemplate only doing one side with anything related to the brakes wink.gif

Sweet, s'wat I thought, but you never know.

Letme know when you want the cash, send me your bank details if you want and I'll transfer the cash to your account going one the exchange rate, then decide what the shipping cost is. or something like that.

Cheers,

Jezz.

One other point while we're exploring the further origins of the discussed topic... biggrin.gif

May even be cheaper than advertised on Courtesy due to tt.net membership discount - I'll get a list together of the bits I need then start a new thread soon wink.gif

Anyone else wanna jump in???
