Toyota knowledge??

Hi all,

Anyone know if it is true that a 2002 Rav-4 2.0vvti has 5 (yes, 5??) oxygen sensors?

My engine light has been coming on so I had a diagnostic check done at my local garage who identified a lambda sensor fault.

After 3 visits, (as they kept buying the wrong part) they eventually cured the problem, but the mehcanic claims there are 5 on the car (not 5 different part numbers for that model, but actually on the car itself). I thought it may have 2 (pre and post cat) but surely not 5........

Anyway, 1 day after they replaced the "faulty" one, the engine light is on again

I guess I'll have to book it in again............at least my ZX never goes wrong!

Richard :(

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
