just done the zed - said £175 on the form, but cost £180 on-line....only £5 increase, thats £10 less than the Skoda...........there's logic in my maddness, I just haven't figured it out yet!!

buy a battery powered 1 so you dont have to pay a penny car tax! as the coneheads who run this twisted country havent yet realised that charging a battery draws lots of electricity, which is generated by power stations, which emit lots of carbons! :xxx:

ah yes but uninformed people don't realise that. it's the car thats the big bad monster eating up our atmosphere!! (can you detect the sarcasm??)

Its just bullshit propperganda so they can justify hitting the easy targets with more tax to pay for their wars and 42k pay rises :xxx:

Yep it always makes me mad when people think using electricity is clearer than petrol, due to this very fact LOL

How do people think electricity is made.

yep its just proof that these taxes aren't here to save the environment and reduce global warming (bloody solar flares  ) but to pay for more stupid things like speed cameras, wars, dustbin inspectors, etc.

Its actually been 'calculated' (I use commas because I don't know who managed to do it and how) that using an electric car produces 4-5 times as much pollution at the power station end than the car would directly. So its not just worse for the enviroment using an electric car- its much worse.

Those hybrid cars are a big con as well, making the batteries they use generates so much pollution that they're actually worse on the enviroment than a conventional petrol car, and apparently a petrol jeep is the most enviromentally friendly car in the world, based on how much pollution they generate in manufacturing, driving and disposal.
